What is special about your non invasive prenatal paternity test? | EasyDNA Kenya

Our non invasive test carries absolutely no risk when compared to other prenatal methods which are all invasive. The term invasive refers to the fact that they carry certain risks for the mother and the fetus.

Whilst our non invasive test only requires a blood draw from the arm of the mother, other invasive tests (like amniocentesis) require a medical surgeon to extract the baby’s DNA from inside the womb using sterile needles (as happens in amniocentesis and CVS) or a catheter (as happens in CVS only). The father’s samples can be collected using simple mouth swabs.
